      Accounting Manager Interview

      31 Jan 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Seattle, WA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Starbucks (Seattle, WA) in Aug 2018

      Interview

I was referred for the position of special accounting project manager. I had a phone screen with the recruiter and a member of the hiring team. Then I was invited to interview in-house with the director of the group, hiring manager, and another business partner of the group. They wanted to know about my background and my skill sets. I believe that the interviews went well. I followed up with the recruiter within 48 hours and she never returned my email. After waiting some more, I then called and the phone calls were unreturned as well. To this day, I still haven't heard from the recruiter or the hiring manager/group. The recruiting experience at Starbucks was horrible.

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Starbucks (Seattle, WA) in Jun 2026

      Interview

Applied through their career web. It was a phone screening with a recruiter about 30 minutes. I heard back within a week, and the response was no. It was okay, but I wish the interviewer had some financial background for screening.

      Anonymous interview candidate
      Seattle, WA
      No offer
      Negative experience

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Starbucks (Seattle, WA) in Aug 2022

      Interview

The interview was less of a conversation and mostly about my background, not a mix of what the job would entail. Also the recruiter had someone else's name in the subject line and did not acknowledge the error when asked. The whole process seemed unorganized.
