I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Starbucks (North Charleston, SC) in Jun 2008
Interview
interview took about 20 minutes. relatively easy and basic questions. they expect personable, freindly and social employees. once i was trained, i had a skills test that consisted of 3-5 tasks. once performed correctly, i got the job fully.
Basically a short chat about my availability, my interest in the job, why I want to work there, how familiar I am with coffee and what my past experiences in hospitality were.
Easiest interview I've ever had. I was only asked 3 questions, 'tell me about yourself, what are your strengths & weaknesses, what is your availability?' Lasted about 10 minutes maximum
Thank you for taking the time to write your feedback. We appreciate your input and are happy to hear that you’ve enjoyed the interview process here at Starbucks.
it was great. I answered every question thoughtfully and easily. You have to have two interviews, one with the manager and one with the district manager. It is a in person interview. They ask many questions and will either hire you on the spot or you will have to call to see if you get the position.
