Question 1
- What are my reasons for applying to the company and how can you contribute to the company.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Stax (Lindon, UT) in Aug 2025
Interview
Had a phone screening with a recruiter followed by a zoom interview with the hiring manager. Phone screening was normal, I felt very qualified for the role based on what I heard about their requirements. Talking directly with the hiring manager afterwards was nice, but they did not seem to have their stuff together. The zoom interview with the manager was rescheduled 3 times and pushed out almost a month. Never heard back after that interview and I'm not sad about it at all.
I applied online. I interviewed at Stax (Orlando, FL) in Jul 2025
Interview
I applied for the position online and was contacted by a recruiter to schedule an interview with the hiring manager. I was informed that I would be meeting with two managers, but on the day of the interview, I was instead introduced to two team leads along with the hiring manager.
The interview started with the hiring manager asking me to walk through my resume and discuss my background. This was followed by a few situational and behavioral questions to understand how I approach challenges in the workplace.
While the hiring manager seemed engaged, the two team leads appeared disinterested and seemed to be in a hurry to leave the meeting. Unfortunately, I did not receive any follow-up communication from the recruiter or the hiring manager after the interview.
