I would like to begin by saying that Sterling Talent Solutions is by far THE MOST UNETHICAL and UNPROFESSIONAL company I have interviewed with. If their HR is reading this review then, do take a bow of shame. All candidates seriously looking for a job and better career jump are hereby advised not to waste their precious time interviewing with them. Please read the full review to know the reason why.
I was contacted by a local seattle recruiter for this job. I had to go through 3 phone interviews followed by 3 back to back onsite interviews. All interviews were technical in nature. The whole process lasted for 3 weeks.
In the end, recruiter emailed me that I got the offer and $XXX salary was offered. Before doing salary negotiations, I wanted to talk to the VP to see what career growth was I looking at. He agreed to talk again and answer questions. I also sent a question on paternity leave policies around the same time. I immediately got a call from the recruiter that my offer was retracted and the reason given was that they were going to move somebody internally from Atlanta office. Keep in mind that I was told that the company was looking for expanding the architecture team. Having said all this, you all are welcome to draw your own conclusions as to why the offer was retracted. I could have thought of suing the company too but not worth my time and energy. In any case, if they were really considering moving someone from Atlanta office then, why waste someone's 3 precious weeks of job hunting, give an offer only to retract it? Speaks a lot about mismanagement in an organization. That's why these companies either don't survive for long or not as successful as others.
