I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at StockX
Interview
The hiring process at StockX was smooth, well structured, and genuinely enjoyable. It began with an initial recruiter screen where I learned about the role, team, and next steps. Communication throughout the process was clear, timely, and supportive.
After that, I had a technical screen focused on frontend dev. The questions were fair, practical, and aligned with the work I'd be doing.
The final round included three one hour interviews, all held virtually:
*Coding Interview: Focused on solving real world frontend problems using JavaScript and React.
*System Design Interview: Covered frontend architecture, component design, and performance considerations.
*Team Fit Interview: A behavioral style conversation centered around past projects, collaboration, and how I handle challenges.
Each interviewer was professional, thoughtful, and made the conversations feel collaborative rather than high pressure. The process gave me a great sense of StockX’s engineering culture, expectations, and values.
Shortly after the final round, the recruiter followed up to deliver the offer, everything from onboarding to equipment setup was communicated clearly and handled efficiently. Overall, it was a very positive and well run experience.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked thoughtful questions around frontend performance optimization, component architecture, and how to design scalable systems. One question focused on improving rendering performance in a React app with a large data set, which led to a great discussion on memoization, virtualization, and design trade offs.
