Interview questions [1]
Question 1
describe a time when you faced a difficult situation at work. What was your solution?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Storj in Feb 2020
Interview
Tech interview, tech challenge, final interview.
The strangest part of the tech challenge / interview process as a whole was the pseudonymous slack group designed to prevent bias. Everyone had a default profile picture and a random name, so you didn't know who you were interacting with, and they didn't know anything about you. The idea is nice, but the execution was awkward and impersonal.
Also they refuse to give any feedback, as a point of policy, on the tech challenge.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked interviewees to choose from a list of pre-designed interview questions.
The whole interview process is tardy and interviewers are non-responsive. They waited 2 months to reply and moved to an assignment stage and the assignment is a full-fledged project that they claim to be an imitation of the real work environment. They assembled 6 people in a private slack channel, and it took them a week to add me in there. Most of the people in there did not response to questions promptly. Furthermore, they will kick you out immediately without any proper communication if you ask them about feedbacks on the assignment . After that, they will ask you to write them feedbacks in a google form about how did the HR do his job, laughable process.
