This was THE worst interview processes I've ever participated in. I spent over a month doing phone and in person interviews with HR, multiple VP's, the CEO and a board member. I then prepared a strategy presentation for the CEO at the behest of HR, which he did not look at. The CEO verbally offered me the job, and the recruiter at LaSalle Network came back with a verbal offer as well. After giving me the runaround for over a week, saying they wanted to review the offer in person, I was notified after reaching out to the recruiter that they had actually offered the position to someone else for less money. I was never even told that others were being considered at that point. I understand that nothing is final until official offer letter is signed, but the expectation was set that there was to be a final meeting to sign the offer. I was never notified of any changes. Instead I had to reach out, and after conveniently providing my strategy and ideas to their team, never heard back from anyone at Stratex. To me, it was an integrity issue. HORRIBLE experience. To the recruiter and company: set clear expectations, be considerate and don't mislead candidates.
