The interview with the senior level technical manager was focused in small details such as the use of specific software being absent from the resume. For an engineer working in the industry over 10 years this type of software is run of the mill, you use one successfully and you can use them all. In this instance I actually had this experice, but neglected to include it on the resume. I felt that they were more focused on just presenting keywords to a prospect bid rather than putting faith in engineering experience, and ability to get the job done. This is not however, unique to this company, it has become an industry norm, and a problem.
