I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Summerhill Group (Toronto, ON) in Feb 2015
Interview
The interview itself was pretty casual and conducted as a panel with multiple senior people. Questions felt "outdated" but the process itself was warm. Great group of people. There is clearly a lot of passion among the employees.

Interview
Sent in an application via Indeed, received an email back asking to schedule an interview. Very standard. The interviewer asked for a contact number for a reference afterwards, spoke to him, and everything went well.

Interview
In-person interview. HR is extremely friendly and easy going. Standard questions were asked such as
why do you want this job, why at this company, what makes you the right candidate, your past experiences and how they would apply at this position, instances of high-stress situations and how you resolved it, your biggest accomplishments, weaknesses and strenghts, where do you see yourself in 5 years, what do you know about the energy sector and its main issues, salary expectations, how would you describe yourself (team leader, team player, works best on their own)

Question 1
Sounds pretty simple and I guess I should have expected it, but the question "where do you see yourself in 5 years" caught me off guard a little bit. Later on I found out that they ask this in every interview and really take into consideration people's answers.
