I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Surefire Local (Austin, TX) in Apr 2024
Interview
Applied online, one phone interview with the recruiter then a Google Meet with a sales manager, team leader and some director with his camera turned off. Recruiter was very helpful however those on the 2nd call just talked how I had no experience following a script, then I started getting hit with questions to make me look inexperienced. With over 20 years in sales I have never see this for an entry level role that pays $45k/year. As someone commented earlier saying "they push you around during the entire interview," I would say that's pretty accurate. I told the recruiter I was no longer interested in this role or company.

Interview
I was interviewed by 2 managers and a VP of sales. They asked some brief questions and had me follow the script for a cold call. They asked about previous sales experience and how I felt about the commute and went over expectations.

Question 1
Are you ok following a script throughout the whole cold call process?

Interview
The first interview was great as well as the second. When it came to interviewing the third time⌠RUDE! I had to reschedule the interview because I was at a funeral and when I finally was able to interview I logged in to Zoom early and had some technical difficulties. He didnât even give me 5 minutes and was very rude. I was still able to call in but he didnât want to continue and told me that we should reschedule when I am more prepared. I logged in early for that reason and you arenât even giving me time? Anyway, I never heard back from them and honestly I wouldnât want to work for someone that condescending and rude. I actually had so much to bring to the table and already had several leads and lead generating opportunities lined up. Believe the reviews please!
