Phone interview with decision maker went well and resulted in an immediate invitation to come onsite, but then after speaking to 3 other people and having great conversations, the decision maker came in and simply said “I know all I need to know,” that he was just there to answer MY questions and would circle back with his team after for their feedback instead of asking me anything, which was rather odd and threw me slightly off balance. It seemed as if he didn’t want to be there, which I didn’t find appropriate since I took time off from work to come in after being pursued by their recruiter.
