However, the details were vague, and it was not entirely clear what they were looking for in a candidate. After that call, I was not contacted again, nor did I receive any updates regarding my application status. A month later, I found out independently that the position had been filled, but there was no follow-up email or feedback from the recruiter regarding my candidacy.
