there were 3 persons in panel and they were very polite to me.First they told me to introduce myself.then they started to ask ece based questions and told me describe me about my final year project which i described. overall it was a good experience.
Interview process was straightforward but a bit fast-paced. It started with an online test covering basic electronics, C programming, and aptitude. The questions were mostly fundamental, but managing time was important.
The technical interview focused on core concepts like microcontrollers, UART, SPI, and I2C communication, along with basic C topics such as pointers and memory. Some questions were scenario-based to check problem-solving and troubleshooting approach rather than just theory.
The interviewer expected clear and direct answers. It was better to admit if I didn’t know something instead of guessing. There was also discussion about projects to verify actual understanding.
The HR round included general questions about teamwork, relocation, and handling pressure. It was simple and mainly checked communication skills.
Overall, the process was fair for a fresher. Strong fundamentals and clear explanation of concepts are important to perform well.
I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Tata Consultancy Services (Calcutta) in Jan 2024
