The interview process for the TCS Digital System Engineer role began with a Technical Round (TR), where I was asked to introduce myself and discuss my background and career aspirations. The interviewer then delved into my projects, particularly those involving the MERN stack, asking about how APIs respond and how data is stored in MongoDB, specifically in the BSON format. I was also asked about applying inline CSS, C++ OOP concepts such as inheritance and polymorphism, SQL indexing and syntax, and how to inject JavaScript into HTML. Additionally, I was asked some DSA questions, including how to swap numbers without a temporary variable and how to use the two-pointer approach. In the Managerial Round (MR), I was asked about my willingness to work night shifts and relocate to different locations. Finally, in the HR Round, I was asked to introduce myself, talk about where I live, share details about my family, and discuss any leadership experience I have.
