I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Tesla in Jan 2019
Interview
I had applied online and I got an email after 2 months. I was first requested for a phone screen with the HR, where I was asked basic behavioral questions. I then had an interview with the manager where I realized this role is much more of a Logistics Co-ordinator than an analyst, which I thought was very misleading.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Tesla (Fremont, CA) in Jan 2026
Interview
Interview with the hiring manager went okay. Ask about the work schedule before discussing pay, since it could significantly affect your salary expectations and overall decision making informed choice better.
Easy interview, mix of technical + behavioral, 3 rounds of interview - first - technical screening, second - with the hiring manager, third - loop round with other senior analysts in the team. Overall good experience

Maintaining data reliability and accuracy to build tableau reports
I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Tesla
Interview
I had a phone screen with the recruiter and was green light to speak with the manager of the team. The final interview was about 3-4 hours with a 30 min presentation for 5 individuals that may or may not be directly involved with the role itself. Followed by 1:1 q&a with each person. I did not enjoy the 1:1 as I felt that the questions were not job related, but riddles. I understand that the interviewers wanted to hear me speak on solving a problem/thinking on my feet, but it was not what the recruiter had outlined and I was unprepared. The work-life balance lacked and so did the potential pay.
