I interviewed for a fairly senior role, and the process was heavily focused on my resume. The interviewers went through every line of it in detail. The interview itself wasn’t particularly complex, as there were no behavioral questions involved. The salary offer was quite high. However, they required four references to be contacted before even extending an offer, and those references reported feeling like they were being interviewed themselves. They described the process and questioning as unnecessarily formal and rigid and didn’t, in turn, recommend working there.
