I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at The Delphi Group
Interview
I was contacted for a 2nd interview, which was booked 2.5 weeks out (1 month from the first the interview). The day before the interview they cancelled citing they are re-evaluating "some internal structures"; no apology was given.
From my perspective, their behaviour is incredibly unprofessional and shows a total lack of respect and integrity and certainly doesn't match the image they're trying to portray about themselves.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Delphi Group
Interview
The interviewer asked me a series of basic questions. Felt less like a conversation and more like a formal interview where the interviewer was ticking boxes off of their checklist. 2 questions the interviewer asked were clearly not related to my resume/experience at all. I sent a follow-up thanking the interviewer for their time and I also submitted a writing sample after the interview (in the same email) as requested.
I never heard back from the company at all. I even followed up to ask about the status of the position over a week later (it was clear I didn't get the position but I just wanted to get some clarity) and no response at all.
Really disappointing as this was a company I held in very high regard. Some advice: treat your prospective employees better.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Why are you interested in the company / why do you want to work here?
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at The Delphi Group (Vernon, BC) in Jan 2018
Interview
the process went really well and it was fun talking with everyone at the interview. I'm not sure why i have to write so much and do this when I didn't interview.
