1 hour interview with head of HR and a senior manager. Started with a 10 minute presentation based on a task they set. Then 50 minutes of a more typical interview.
I applied online. I interviewed at Thistle Initiatives (Croydon, England) in Feb 2018
Interview
Three interviews took place:
1) initial telephone interview to get a feel for what the job entails and the company
2) more formal and discussed experience relevant to the role as well as showcasing a portfolio
3) quite relaxed and discussed more aspects outside of work and why I would be a good fit for the company
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Thistle Initiatives (Croydon, England) in Oct 2017
Interview
The interview process was extremely quick and smooth. A week or so after applying, I was phoned by a HR representative who explained more about the role and asked about my salary expectations.
A couple of weeks later, I was invited to a face-to-face interview with the Operations Manager and a Senior Compliance Associate. Both were extremely courteous and went into further detail about the role and the company. The questions mainly revolved around my interest in compliance / financial crime, why I wanted to get into consulting, my experience in managing risk and persuading others and what I knew about the company.
Overall, my experience of the Thistle Initiatives recruitment process was overwhelmingly positive.
