I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Thoughtworks (Chennai)
Interview
I applied for ThoughtWorks online and I immediately received a call from the HR the next morning. The HR briefed about the expectations and quickly setup a time for the coding round. The coding round was OK, I was given a minesweeper program to solve. I was a little too nervous to not read the problem completely but it turned out OK in the end. I was given a booklet with flowchart based questions to solve and was told to come back on a later day for the 1:1 technical interview.
The technical interview was conducted by a 2 member team. They were warm people. I was given a OO problem , SQL and another coding problem to solve. At the end of it , I was given a feedback saying I was little too slow and even a junior developer could get that done easily. Well, that part could have been conveyed better. And it's more of depth test, rather than a test of breadth.
They are really warm people though, i was offered lunch and a coffee !
