First I had a phone screen interview with an engineer. Next was the technical on-site, which was a project and a code review with a number of engineers. Lastly, there was a behavioral on-site with engineering managers.

The interview process is 3 rounds but I only made it to the 2nd. I applied on the company website and was contact by a recruiter. The initial phone call went very well. The recruiter was respectful and easy to talk to. The conversation was about my background, the company, and about the position and its requirements/benefits. The second round was Android focused live coding in coderpad (or whatever is hackerrank adjacent) with hiring manager and Android dev. I was asked to pull hypothetical data from a hypothetical api and present it on the screen. I think they were probably looking for my explanation of how I would set it up, but I went straight into coding which is always a no-no. Did not see a round 3. I would have appreciated some feedback but received the general “thanks for your interest” email.
