They move quick between rounds and you talk to a lot of different people - my last round was with the CEO which was cool I thought
First was a recruiter second was a manager third was another manager last was ceo
Made it to second round, they ask you about motivation + experience in sales, afterwards they run through scenarios, and ask you if you have any questions for them. Yup.
I applied online. I interviewed at Topline Pro (New York, NY) in Feb 2026
Interview
3 step process - quick chat with a recruiter, followed by two back to back virtual interviews with two sales team members, and then one in-person mock cold call role play interview.
The call with the recruiter was straightforward, it felt like he was just reading off a list of bullet points.
The call with the sales team was a little more involved. One conversation was with a Sales Manager, and one was with an Account Executive. It helped give a good overview of what the job was and what they expect from you in that role.
The last part was also straight-forward. They give you information prior to the interview, like potential customer profiles, and then gauge how you handle moving the conversation along, booking that next meeting, and handling objections. If you prepared/practiced, it shows.

Question 1
What is a time you failed or messed up, and how did you overcome it?
Thank you for the detailed breakdown -- this is really helpful for candidates who want to know what to expect. You nailed it: we designed the process to be transparent and to reward preparation. The role play in particular is meant to reflect what the job actually looks like day-to-day, so candidates who come in ready tend to feel that. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience and wish you the best!
