I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Trader Joe's (Silverdale, WA) in Sept 2016
Interview
I felt very confident with how both my interviews went, feel that I fit the "Trader Joe's" mold, am a college graduate, have years of retail experience, am a current shopper there, and am very knowledgable of their products and company. Both the assistant manager and the manager seemed receptive to me and I felt so sure that it went well. I eventually got the call from the manager that I was not selected for the job, but the guy had the nerve to express that he "hoped I would continue to shop and find new products at their store." Two days after the rejection, I found that the position had been re-posted on an online job board. Pretty frustrating experience.

Question 1
What is your dream job? Explain what you know about the company, what is your favorite product here.
The interview process was absolutely wonderful! I didn't feel stressed or nervous and it felt like I was just chatting with a friend! Trader Joes is a great company and the interview was great.
Very chill, asked things a lot of job interviews don't, more personal down to earth questions. Made me feel very comfortable. Professional but also cool vibes from everyone who interviewed me. Went to one interview with mates and another with the captain.
I had 3 separate interviews. 1 was over the phone. 2 were in person. I never heard anything after the third interview. I called the store about a week later and they let me know they didn’t actually have any available positions. Really felt like they wasted my time.
