      Lead Software Engineer Interview

      16 Apr 2017
      Anonymous employee
      Mumbai
      Accepted offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at TranServ (Mumbai) in Dec 2015

      Interview

The interview process is weird. For a lead position, they had a written test which had 2 basic compiler questions, 2 puzzles, 2 java programs, a face to face with the Senior VP, an interview with the Head of operations and then the HR round. All the rounds were done in a single day so it was fine.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Written test 1. 2 compiler level java questions. 2. 2 puzzles 3. 2 java programs to implement. WIP for a guaranteed deadlock. WIP to traverse a matrix from top left to bottom right. 4. Design and architecture interview with the SVP. 5. The Head of operations(Now CTO) was asking generic questions related to the past projects that were accomplished by me. It was a simple round. 6. A basic HR round for salary negotiations and joining dates.
