Interview
The interview process overall was fairly easy. The focus of it was more of a gauge to see how well you know the foundations of computer science. They started off with a phone interview with two managers from different departments and seeing how you fit more culturally and just to ask you about your background given your resume. Then I went in for an in person interview where they ask you more technical foundational questions and trying to get a feel of what you do and do not know. Overall though it wasn't too bad at all.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Travelport (Atlanta, GA (US)) in January 2011.
Interview
Traveport uses a third party company to manage the interview process centrally. This company seemed to be a bit generic in their approach, but Travelport staff were a lot more engaged once it got to that point. The standard process seems to be phone interviews, then in person interviews, if you get to that stage. The process was slow to feedback but may have been the timing of the particular job opening.

Interview
Many life challenging questions were asked and I had to give my most relevant examples of how I've tackled those problems or dealt with them better. This seems to be the main way that interviews are conducted here.

Interview
I had one very quick, 30 minute interview with the lady that would be my manager over the summer. I am probably not a great example for the interview process as I knew someone who worked at that location

I applied online. I interviewed at Travelport (Atlanta, GA (US)) in July 2016.
Interview
I interviewed twice for the company. The first interview consisted of a phone screen, two in person interviews and a writing test. I did not get the job. Less than a year later I was approached regarding the same job. I went through two phone screens and another writing test. As soon as I finished the writing test I was told the position is on hold. It was frustrating to be approached regarding same position and go through more hoops. It seems as if they are very disorganized.

Interview
I only met one person to interview with. It wasn't particularly technical. More of a casual conversation. At end of interview I asked what the next steps might be ... for example will I come in again to meet the team and interview further. Person told me no, the decision would be made from what he had to report. I thought this odd, I've never interviewed for a job by speaking with only one person. Another "oddity" ... I saw a few people walk by as I was interviewing. They all were Indian. I wondered what my chances were with so many Indians employed (I'm American). I've also seen some of their salary estimates, kinda low.
A few days after the interview I contacted the HR person who originally setup the interview. I sent an email asking if they had any interest in hiring or had moved onto other candidates. I never received a reply. Finally, 2 weeks later, I received an auto-generated email telling me they weren't interested.
