True Link Financial interview questions

I talked with at least 8 or so different people in 5+ interviews. At least 2 or 3 stages of the process took a whole afternoon. I made it to the final round (didn’t get an offer, also don’t believe I would’ve taken if offered) and by that time it was exceedingly clear than no one on the team actually knew what they wanted the person in the role to be doing. I believe they ended up reposting the role. I wouldn’t have minded if the process wasn’t overly burdensome.

Phone screen with CTO Take home assessment, where you build a CSV processor that processes 2 fake CSV examples and does some map/reduce/filter work. You're encouraged to use AI (but document it), and spend 1-2 hours on it. The rubric is 4 small bullet points "Favor readability" but it was unclear what the actual goal of completing the assessment is about. Generally, these are just a starting point to do a code pairing session later, but unclear because no review or feedback on the actual assessment was provided to me.
