I applied online. I interviewed at TuSimple (Dallas, TX) in Mar 2021
Interview
Waste of time, More than qualified with 3 years of testing experience with automated vehicles, 2 of those years are with Semi Truck / Yard Truck Robot testing for software and hardware.
Experience with mapping, planner, perception, controls bug reporting and system issues.
Jira, Git, Ubuntu, ROS, bash/python/C++ programming experience too.
They ask you dumb questions not related to the position, more or less what experience do you have with AVO, which is funny, because if you have that experience already why bother? They also ask what leadership experience do you have? Even if you answer Air Force, store management, and oh You are a testing lead currently for a Self driving trucking company, they aren't impressed, meanwhile the interviewers have 3 months experience in their positions.
EVEN DURING THE INTERVIEW, the interviewers said: You seem great, we're going to go ahead and set you up for another interview with our peers. Then 3 weeks later. Say nothing at all. Are you kidding? I can replace their testing management team.
Any attempt to contact HR to ask for feedback is futile.
Unprofessional. Period.

Also things like, can you work somewhere for training temporarily, obvious answer is yes. They do NOT dive into questions like, what do you do in this situation, which is what I ask when I interview folks.
