I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at UKG (Destin, FL) in Mar 2016
Interview
I know I am well qualified, I was referred to the company. I've applied several times had one interview with recruiter, and then passed to the hiring manager. The hiring manager continued to concentrate on what I had done but on what I could do! I was trying to change roles from what I was doing. All of my employment is THIS job but with different "titles", they kept asking me have I thought of this position, that position. I said yes, but I applied to THIS position.
If I wanted the "other" positions I would have clearly applied to them.
They seemed to try and lead me down a more technical role, when I'm not looking to be in a technical role. I want to be customer facing, customer focused. I HAVE successful customer service experience, I am energetic, passionate and upbeat. I'm able to perform the job!
Instead, this person tried to lead me down the rabbit hole and proceeds to tell me that they hire people with little to no experience in this role.
I waited about about two weeks and heard back...they chose someone else.
Why would you lead people on rabbit hunts and tell them that we hire people with little to no experience when your interviewing someone WITH experience?
The best I can guess...is they hired a friend of a friend, but yet I passed the recruiters process with flying colors. I think it was just going through motions to say they talked to other people.
I happily found my dream job elsewhere making MORE $$ than what I told this company that I wanted for compensation!
After the pre-screen, the hr rep said mentioned that the hiring managers were out of the office for the week, but, I’d hear back from them once they returned the following week. Perhaps this was a just kind thing to say, but, I never heard back.
They made it very easy and outlined the process thoroughly. Streamlined, easy. I understood what next steps were and when I would be contacted. They made it easy and painless.

Interview
Easy interview. No surprises. They use their own products to push candidates through the interview process.
It's clear after going through the interview process, this company doesn't stand by its DEI claim. You can see what sort of people they hire and it tends to be consistent.
