I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at USAA (Tampa, FL) in Jan 2018
Interview
I had gotten a referral through a friend. They emailed me about the referral and applied through the link they sent me. Got an invitation for the pre-employment assessment, took it and submitted. Took about 2-3 weeks before I heard anything back. Was invited to do a phone interview, which in itself was pretty comfortable and was given a lot of information regarding the position and benefits and training/working schedule. At the end was invited to come in for face-to-face interview, set it up for early morning next day.
Went in for interview, had one person interviewing in person and another person on the phone. Interview felt very comfortable, more like a conversation and felt very confident about the experience. Was told my recruiter would contact me within 5 business days. Got a call from him the next day with an offer, provided clearance with background and drug test.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at USAA (San Antonio, TX) in Apr 2018
Interview
a lot of steps, very long, a lot of questions. not a lot of pressure, but they ask a lot of situational questions. role playing is common in the 1:1 interview
