Initial communication was submission of resume to the company website. Then contacted by corporate recruiter for initial screening interview. Next was a longer phone interview followed by several telephone interviews with various levels of managers from several locations. I completed 3 in-person 1:1 interviews culminating with an interview with my immediate manager. Throughout the process the recruiter kept in very close touch with me to advise me about the process, next steps, etc.
I thought the process was rather long and involved; I often wondered when the final interview would happen (I went through 8 interviews total by phone and in person).
When I finally saw 2 of the Chicago area offices, I was very impressed by the decor. The HQ office is very well appointed, very clean with ample parking and easy access from expressways. The Bolingbrook office at first took me back: it seemed much less like an office and more like a college dorm with the decorations. I noted the halls were all labeled with candy names, such as Candy Cane Way, 100 Grand Blvd, etc. Conference rooms had soda names: Orange Crush, Cherry Coke, Mtn. Dew.
The people were very friendly and open; they seemed to welcome any and all questions that I had, even encouraging me to ask literally anything I wanted to know. They made me feel very comfortable, allowing as much time as was needed without making me feel like I was "under the gun" to get the interview done in a certain time limit. The people were attentive, talkative, warm and supportive. They exhibited the values of the Dynamic Organization throughout the process.
