What I experienced is there are 3 interviews. During the pandemic, the interview is done via Google Meet. First is HR Interview. I have a good time during this interview, the interviewer doesn't want to say this was an interview, they treat this as a small chat. You get your background from your CV being checked thoroughly, but it's just like I telling my experiences to a friend. Here is what I got weird, I applied to a front-end position, but instead they invited me to a back-end position interview for the next one. The second interview is a technical interview. The interview is being done in English. We will write a code in Google Docs while sharing the screen to the interviewer. There were two problems to be solved. They also asked the time and space complexity of the code that we wrote. They asked if I can optimize the code, though I could only optimize one problem. I got invited to the third interview. Interview with the hiring manager. Here I tried to explain the mistake that I actually wanted to apply as front-end. They tested my knowledge in frontend. I didn't do a good job. They asked if I can work as back-end first. They also asked about my problem from my previous work and how they might be able to handle that. They asked what I could offer if I got accepted. Lastly, they wanted I to ask anything related to their company. Just ask anything you're curious here.
