I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Unity (San Francisco, CA) in Jun 2018
Interview
The interview was well planned. I was in one office, and everyone came in to interview me. I interviewed with over 10 people, including an online meeting. In several cases, I was interviewed by teams. I thought the group interviews were excellent because I was able to see the camaraderie of team members. The interviews were actually fun, though it was a bit challenging to be interviewed by so many in such a short time. However, I thought the level of difficulty was appropriate given the position's requirements.

I applied online. I interviewed at Unity (Brighton, England)
Interview
Standard interview process asking questions about my background and why I'd like to become a technical writer. They looked for experience/explanation in your writing skills so definitely something to consider if you're coming from more of the technical side like myself.

Question 1
Great questions, particularly keen on looking at soft-skills and interpersonal capabilities.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Unity (Vancouver, BC) in Nov 2021
Interview
I had a great experience applying to Unity. The recruiters I worked with were communicative, transparent, and very friendly. They kept me updated every step of the process and always answered my emails right away.
The interview process itself was difficult. After the initial phone screen with the recruiter, I had a short zoom call with the hiring manager. I was then sent an assignment to complete at home (around 2 hours), met with 3 different groups of people (other writers, project managers, and the hiring manager again), and had my reference checked (2 managerial references and 2 colleague references). Overall it took around 7 weeks from me to receive my offer after the initial call with the recruiter.
While the process was long and difficult, everyone I met and talked with was lovely. The panel interviews were more like a casual conversation and I felt comfortable and at ease the entire time. It was clear that they all enjoyed working at Unity and they made the work culture and environment sound really appealing and exciting.
