There was a 10-minute presentation and questions from a two-panel team. The lead was quite uninterested in my presentation and wanted to go right into it. I had expected that a screen would have been provided so that I could stand and follow through, but there was none. There was also a large centre table between me and the interviewers, so I leaned on the table to help them see my screen while I struggled to push the tabs to change the slides as I presented.
During the question time, I could see that the lead asked most of the questions. The other member was just there and minimally participated. She butted in when she felt that I had answered a question correctly, but the lead kept on saying, 'There's something else I need to hear. '
Anyway, later that evening, the lead called me and said my presentation was very sound and technical. He was convinced that I could do the job but they had appointed someone already familiar with the stakeholders, as that was the big challenge he had at hand – difficult stakeholders.
