Recruiter who contacted me was very professional and nice.
The Senior Director who I interviewed next was very rude and demeaning. She sounded like she had just drank a dozen cups of coffee. Bazaar.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
None of the questions were extremely related to the role. You would have to be a psychic to figure out where they come up with their questions.
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at VIZIO (Addison, TX) in Apr 2023
Interview
5 phone interviews and 2 in person interviews with a total of around 11 people. These were a great bunch of folks who weren't 100% sure what they were looking for.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The question they asked were a normal set of questions asked of senior managers, as well as technical subject matter expertise questions.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at VIZIO (Irvine, CA)
Interview
I was really, really disappointed in my experience interviewing with Vizio. It's not only unprofessional, but also unkind to lead someone to believe they're a valid candidate, and then be completely unresponsive to follow-up for whatever reason (no longer being considered, job on hold, etc.). Plus, there was a clear discrepancy between the job description and what was actually expected of the role once discussed. I’d rather focus energy sharing a review so anyone with a similar experience knows it’s not something they did, but rather the result of a faulty hiring process. I wish I'd read the employee reviews before interviewing. People remember the way they were treated by a company, whether as an interviewee or employee. This one can — and should — do better, especially in this day and age.

Question 1
None, really. More of a discussion about the role and department for most of the interview.
