5 step interview process. Was not clear about what to expect to that there was a total of 5 from the beginning. 3 out of 5 of them, the person was late by 5-15 minutes and didn’t communicate that with me. Total waste of time. They always have a job post listing but doesn’t seem like they are actually hiring. One person said they were disappointed I didn’t have industry knowledge and that looked bad. And another people said she liked that I didn’t know the industry well so they could teach their way. What is it!?

Overall, I found the experience incredibly insightful and distinctly "human". There are some companies where you can sense a need for performative-ness at the expense of your personality. Vanta's team from the beginning to end made an effort to not only ensure you were the right fit for the role, but to actually engage and connect along the way.

The recruiter screen was poorly conducted. It didn't follow typical recruiter screen flow and ended early without a rundown of the position, compensation, benefits, etc. It felt rush and the recruiter was all over the place.
