I applied through my university and with the help of a referral who I networked with on Linkedin. Networking plays a major role for securing a job with Veolia. I received a phone call interview then another one over skype. Later on we were just connected to figure out the visa processes and flight schedules.

Why Veolia? What makes you a good fit for the position?
The first interview was with the Lead from Texas for the open position in Belgium. It was long and not that difficult. The interview was very positive and the interviewer said that he would like to work with me, but then they made up some excuses like "their system is changing" and eventually ghosted me.
