Very unprofessional approach by Vestas India Chennai. First, for a senior Technical position, the interview was conducted over phone by a non technical HR person who was asking descriptive technical questions and checking my answers with the standard answers provided to her by the company. She was mentioning like "I don't have your answer in my sheet here". For Technical roles, at least a face to face interview is required for a full fledged discussion, or at least a telephonic discussion with a COMPETENT Technical person. I had my doubts about who she was and I did ask her a couple of time if she is a technical person who can understand my answers, for which she kept replying " you can talk to me". she never confirmed if she was a technical person. I am sure she was not. She didn't identify herself by name or role Secondly, I have a strong suspicion that someone else along with her may have been listening in the telecon. This practice of having silent anonymous participants in any telecon is unethical and does not behoove a company like vestas. Lastly, she did not give a heads up about how much time the interview is going to take or if I am good on time for an extended telephonic interview. She randomly called and started asking questions. The interview went on for more than half hour at which point I told her that I was in the middle of some other work and took her call just because she said she called to discuss a job role at vestas!! Shameful and Pathetic. I pity those who are employed in this company
