I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Victoria's Secret in Apr 2011
Interview
I filled out an application by hand then took it back to Victoria's Secret within a week. I handed it directly to the manager, who gave me a mini interview on the spot. She asked me to come in the following Sunday for a group interview. The group interview was pretty easy and consisted of basic retail questions. Although it was a group interview, there was only me and one other lady, who was applying for a different position. Victoria's Secret usually takes a few weeks to get back to you. Within three weeks, I got a surprise call from them offering me the position. I have been working there part-time since April, and I absolutely love it! The managers and staff are very friendly and a lot of fun to work with.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Describe a time when you had to work in a group to accomplish a task.
Hiring managers prioritize your personality, availability, and customer service mindset, looking for candidates who are friendly, adaptable, reliable, and comfortable engaging with customers, rather than focusing heavily on prior experience or technical skills.
Very easy, first a phone call then meeting in person. Took a while to be seen in person even after the scheduled meeting time, they had me just kind of stand in a corner for a while waiting for someone to become available.
