I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Virtu Financial (Dublin, Dublin) in Nov 2017
Interview
Was reached out to by a recruiter. Given an online coding test, not too hard questions. Then a HR call, then a technical phone screen, then was asked for onsite interviews. The onsite interviews start with an aptitude test, 65 questions in 35 minutes so pretty time pressured. I didn't manage my time well, scored a few points below the minimum so the process ended there.
Felt it was strange to bring a candidate in for interviews just to send them home after an aptitude test which could have been administered online.
Very long interview process. Technical assessment and technical round and then onsite super day interview. Very unnecessarily long in my opinion, interviewed with around 6 people onsite, emphasis on long hours. A lot of statistical/probability questions and brain teasers.

Question 1
Describe a time you worked through a team challenge.
there is one HR call, then hackerrank test, consisting 5 questions in python or you can use other coding language as well, then Technical round with one of the member and one final round with the full member team on site in their midtown office.
So far I had HR call and 5 technical questions online assessment. Questions are easy and HR call is mainly walking through my resume. Not too hard, still waiting for results.
