I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Virtusa (Colombo, Western) in Sept 2015
Interview
First you will get a written test, including SQL, JAVA/.NET/etc. (according to your preference), with standard questions.
Then, if you get through this stage, you will get a call within about a week for the second, 1:1 interview.
Normally you get two interviewers for the one on one.

Question 1
Usual Stuff, interviewers are usually senior engineers or leads in the company, so you won't get tough questions. But in my case I got the "toughest" (according to many and CTO of the company). But I did well, specially after a fresh graduate and since I covered lot of course modules that I didn't even registered to, helped me answer.
But I think that was an extreme interview. Normally you wouldn't get such interviewers. We ourselves have interviewed couple of people, and we were not that tough on people.
Usual interview questions with fairly simple brain teasers.
there was 3 round first round is telephonic where they asked basic details, then 2nd round is technical you can expect some 10 to 15 questions related to your position which goes around 25 to 45 mins, and final is HR discussion mainly related to the salary negotiation.
The hiring process typically includes a coding test to evaluate programming skills, followed by a technical round to assess problem-solving abilities and technical knowledge. Finally, there is an HR interview to discuss cultural fit, company values, and other non-technical aspects. Each stage is crucial for securing the position.

Question 1
As a recent graduate, I was primarily asked about Java OOP concepts and SQL during my interview.
Good First round was an online coding round. We are given 3 levels of questions with 2 questions at each level. We need to solve at least one question at each level. The coding questions were easy-medium type. After 2-3 days I got a mail that I cleared round 1 and my interview will be scheduled for the last week.
