From the start, the process was a mess:
đ The interview was rescheduled three times without proper communication or consideration for my time.
The HR representative I interacted with was not just unprofessional â she was rude and downright mean. Despite the interview email clearly stating that masking details on the government ID was acceptable, she forced me to unmask it, which felt intrusive and disrespectful. For the record, I personally know candidates who interviewed at Virtusa with masked IDs, and it was accepted without any issue. The inconsistency and attitude were unacceptable.
As if that wasn't enough, the interviewer was also discourteous and dismissive. I've appeared in interviews with multiple well-known companies, and this was by far the worst experience I've had. It didnât feel like a professional interaction at all â more like being interrogated by people who clearly didnât value candidates or their time.
This entire experience reflects poorly on Virtusaâs company culture. If this is how they treat candidates, I can't imagine how they treat employees.
đ Overall: Highly disappointing. Would not recommend engaging with Virtusa if youâre expecting a fair, respectful, and professional hiring process.
