      Associate Business Analyst Interview

      1 May 2022
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Voya Financial

      Interview

The recruiter contacted me for my availability to schedule a phone screening. Then, I got ghosted for a week until I finally heard back and gave my availability again. I didn’t get a confirmation so I assumed I’m getting ghosted again. Then, Recruiter called outside my available time, so I couldn’t pick up. What was the point of asking for my availability? This tells me the company does not value the candidate’s time and defeats the purpose of scheduling an interview. For some reason I was contacted by the Talent Acquisition Scheduler for 2nd round of interview with a Business Team member. I passed the 2nd interview and got scheduled for a 3rd panel interview. It was very difficult because the 3rd panel interview schedule kept getting rescheduled and I had to prepare for it last minute. After going through the 3rd panel interview, I got ghosted again. Not even a rejection email. Honestly, the whole interview process dragged for 2 months and I was very exhausted by the end. If Voya continues to drag the hiring process like this, they are gonna lose a lot of great candidates to other companies.

      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Voya Financial (Minneapolis, MN) in Apr 2015

      Interview

I applied online. Sometime later I received an email for a phone screen. After following up with the phone screen a face to face interview was setup. I went to the face to face interview. After the face to face I would find out if I got the position.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

The interview was a structured interview with manager following the paper outline. The manager inquired further to some of the questions along the way though mostly went one level deeper with followup questions. Most the questions that I remember were experience based with some personality based. No big deal the interview was relaxed and the role required dynamism and a strong person which almost seemed hypocritical.
