WD Firmware Testing interview questions

1st Round - The Online Assesment had to be given from LHC . It had three sections - Aptitude, CS Fundamentals and some Hardware Theory. Then comes the interviews which had 4 rounds in total. 2 Technical, 1 Managerial and 1 HR. In technical, compilation of a C program was asked and how variables are stored in spaces. A few questions based on storage methods (ENDIAN-NESS) were asked. Loop detection in a Linked List was asked. Some questions on how to make a bit-mask for different purposes were asked. Demand Paging was focused on; i was given a scenario where i had to implement that. Scheduling algorithms were asked mainly inverse priority scheduling and its implementation. Resolution of Deadlocks. Synchronization was prioritised. Mutex and semaphores were also asked. Managerial round was to evaluate how well would you work in an office environment and basic yet important questions were asked. In HR, they asked the boilerplate questions and they were also interested in knowing if you wanted to pursue higher studies or not. So be a little careful while answering as that could cost you your interview.
