The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Walmart in Nov 2009
Interview
I was called in for an interview for Walmart. First I talked to the Hardware Dept Manager. She asked questions that were on the test given when you apply for the job. After I spoke to her I was then passed to the manager over customer service. I assumed I got the position because he started to take all my personal information. This was the easy art. It took 1 day, about 45 minutes. They informed me they would do a background check and i had to take a drug test. Since my drug test came up positive due to medication it took 2 weeks to start orientation.

I had three interviews. Each store is different someone might have less interviews then I had. The three interviews were easy. My biggest advice is just be yourself. Your last interview would be the Store Manager which went by fairly quickly.
