Interviewed initially for a job on attractions. Went to the casting center and waited in the hallway lobby as they called it, and a video played continuously talking about what it takes to be a good Disney employee and such. Waited about 30 min until I got called into the casting ladies office. she was very friendly as was everyone else there, and she just asked basic questions like "why do you want to work for Disney?" "what experience that you have?" "have you dealt with difficult customers?" Just be sure to show that its a real accomplishment to you to be able to work for Disney and that you can be very personable.
The interview was very simple, pretty much you want to make sure you emphasize how important customer happiness is and that you recognize that that's Disney's main priority, because that really is their main concern. Be sure to dress very nice; I personally don't have a suit (I'm a college student living away from home) so I wore a nice vest over a collared shirt and dress pants and shoes with a wrist watch. After those few questions, she asked what my availability would be and if all the info from my application was true. She told me no attractions jobs were available so she gave me 3 other job descriptions and told me to pick my favorite 2. I picked cashiering and busing. She told me there will be a lot of spots opening up prior to spring break for the cashiering job. She said I did excellent on my interview, verified my email address and said probably by the end of the month I will receive an email with a phone number to call. Less than a week later I got the email and called the number and left a voicemail with my name and number. The next day they called me back and pretty much told me congratulations you have the job and you start in a month. Now i have to go fill out the usual papers and I'm good to start.
