I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Walt Disney Company in Oct 2012
Interview
I had done an internship during college. During my last year at school I applied online around the same time as applying for Big 4 firms. Disney called me for a short phone interview and invited me to come in for the in-house interviews in Burbank. The interviews were interesting. 4 different rooms of 3 to 4 interviewers. Each room focused on different topics (technical skills, personality, accounting skills/experience, etc.). Everyone was really nice and didn't seem like they were there to intimidate me.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Explain the necessary journal entries required when a sale is made at a Disney Store.
3 rounds: Multiple departments had the same open role, so I interviewed without knowing which team I would be placed on. First a phone screen with a recruiter. Second there was a round involving the direct supervisors. They talked about the culture fit, as well as asking about what specific Excel formulas I knew. They talked about the business units. The final round was with the senior managers. This was more general.
