Question 1
- Asked Scenario questions and asked about your knowledge of the items
I interviewed for two different roles at TWDC. One was a positive experience and I went on to accept the offer. The other was a terribly negative candidate experience.
I'll keep it short - I made it to the presentation stage and was given a task. The task was very badly written and it wasn't clear what I was expected to deliver. To be clear, the task itself wasn't difficult but the expectations and deliverables were thoroughly confusing.
I went back to ask a few clarifying questions. They responded with an irrelevant one line answer, which was not helpful to my completion of the task.
I spent a few sleepless nights working on it. And although I submitted a deck and was quite proud of my work, I was penalised for asking questions. This is extremely puzzling and I do not believe this is the right way to treat candidates. It only tells me that TWDC's corporate culture does not encourage/allow employees to ask questions. They just want employees to follow instructions.
