I had a very frustrating and unprofessional interview experience with Waystar. I initially applied for one position but was contacted by a recruiter about a completely different role, which already created some confusion about alignment.
I proceeded through the process, including completing a case study, and was later told I would not be moving forward for that role. However, I was then encouraged to interview for another position in a different department. I completed two additional rounds of interviews, investing even more time and effort.
After those interviews, I received no follow-up communication. Despite emailing the recruiter twice for an update, I was completely ghosted. I ultimately had to log into the system myself to discover that I was not selected.
This experience felt highly disorganized and disrespectful of my time. A simple update or closure would have gone a long way.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend interviewing here unless their candidate communication process significantly improves.
