I was promoted to the position so the managers I interviewed with were people I already knew. There were some technical questions but overall it was pretty relaxed. The majority of the process was centered around my ability to respond in certain situations. Having the ability to respond to unexpected events in the oilfield is a skill that takes time to acquire, but it also requires the ability to keep calm and make smart decisions.
