Applied online, within 2 weeks got the email asking if i would like a schedule for a phone interview. I had the phone interview in the first week of January 2016. The first phone interview took about 1 hr, it was an interviewer and as i answered the question she typed my answer. It was awkward at the beginning but i remained calm till the end. After 2 weeks, i finally hear from them. They told me that the would like to schedule an interview at their recruitment office. This second interview was me and 2 other person (employee representative and Executive Chef), here they explained couple position that they would later on offer to me. The interview last for like 45 mins, they asked couple of same questions from my first phone interview. They also asked me about my favorite food, what would i suggest my customer if they ask me for a meal suggestion?(thanks to glass door, this was one of the question that glass door provided when i googled the interview questions for wegmans.) I had to do another interview, this time i was interviewed by 3 person. employee rep, executive chef and the corporate trainer. the questions more detail and technical, because of the position that they offer me is the position at the store restaurant calls The Pub by Wegmans, so they asked me name of liquors (brand of the high called, type of beers, the different between sparkling wine and champagne, etc. One other question that she asked me, was to tell her how i would greeted customer from beginning, suggest them food, served them, cleaned the table and dropped the check and to make sure that you told them to come back. After about 1 week, i got another phone call to come in for a meeting with the representative, and here they offer me the job. they gave me couple of day to think about it, the position is In-store restaurant coordinator. I called them back to give them my answer after 2 days, then i got to pick up a package of paperwork i needed to do, such as urine test, background check, hair follicle test(drug test) and physical test. all those test can only be done in a selected hospitals that Wegmans listed in the package, then after 2 weeks they called me back to let me know that i passed those test and gave me the date of my orientation. Long process but really worth the wait!!
