I went to the back with the store manager. He asked me 3 questions and that was it. Questions didn’t go into detail about the particular job I was interested in, but nonetheless they were good questions. Still waiting to hear back.

I applied online and followed up a week later. Was told a interview date and showed up on that date. Was led by the hiring manager to the back office and asked about availability and if I had retail experience. Fairly easy process helped by the fact that they needed people at the time.
